What “on-site” actually means

You give us your address, a date, and a course (Standard First Aid + CPR C, Emergency First Aid + CPR C, CPR Level C, BLS, or recertifications). A Life Safe instructor shows up at your office with the manikins, AED trainers, bag-valve-masks, bandaging supplies, and textbooks. Your team takes the course in your meeting room. Everyone completes the practical assessment. Certificates are issued the same day.

You don’t travel. You don’t lose half a day to commute. Your team is back at their desks the moment class ends. The instructor packs up and leaves.

Who books on-site training in Toronto

The roster is broad — Life Safe runs on-site sessions for some of the largest organizations in Toronto and for small businesses, daycares, and clinics across the GTA.

Common on-site bookings include corporate HR teams running annual compliance refreshes, daycares training all staff on PA days, dental and physiotherapy clinics renewing BLS, manufacturing floors covering shift first aiders, and film/TV productions certifying crew before a shoot.

Group size and instructor ratios

What the trainer brings

For Standard First Aid sessions we also bring our realistic wound-care arm — a hemorrhagic trainer for practising direct pressure, packing, and tourniquet application. Students remember the skill better when it’s practised on something that looks and feels real.

Space and setup

You need:

• Floor space — about 400–600 sq ft for a group of 8–12. A boardroom with tables pushed against the walls usually works. So does a yoga studio, a daycare playroom, or a warehouse meeting space.
• Power outlets for the AED trainers and any video equipment
• A projector or large screen — optional but helpful for video segments. We bring a portable display if you don’t have one.
• Washrooms and water nearby (CPR practice is more tiring than it looks)

You don’t need: any specialized equipment, training manikins, AEDs, or supplies. We bring everything.

Scheduling around your operations

The biggest reason teams book on-site instead of public open classes is scheduling control. We work around your shifts, not the other way around.

• Two evenings — popular for office teams. Standard First Aid split into two 7-hour evening sessions.
• One full Saturday or Sunday — popular for retail and hospitality teams who can’t pause weekday operations.
• Daycare PA days — full-day session while the centre is closed for child care.
• Two consecutive day shifts — manufacturing, logistics, warehouse teams.
• Half-day CPR-only refresh — when staff just need to maintain CPR currency between Standard FA renewals.
• Lunch-and-learn CPR awareness — non-certifying short sessions (not for compliance, but for general team readiness).

Course options for on-site delivery

• Standard First Aid + CPR Level C AED — the most common workplace requirement; 6+ workers per shift
• Emergency First Aid + CPR Level C AED — for workplaces of 1–5 workers per shift
• CPR Level C AED — CPR-only, the half-day course
• BLS (Basic Life Support) — for healthcare workers, dental offices, clinics
• BLS Renewal — annual healthcare CPR renewal
• Standard First Aid Recertification — when your team’s cards are within the 3-year validity window

Per-person pricing for on-site Standard First Aid + CPR in Toronto typically runs $80–$150 per person in 2026, depending on group size and location. CPR-only group sessions are lower. Larger groups (12+) usually unlock per-person discounts.

How the booking process works

1. Get a quote. Email or call us with your headcount, course type, preferred date range, and location. We send a written quote in 24 hours.
2. Confirm the date. You pick a date that works for your operations; we lock it in our schedule.
3. We confirm the logistics. Address, room setup, parking instructions, projector availability, dietary notes if you’re providing lunch.
4. We arrive 30 minutes early. Trainer brings equipment, sets up manikins, tests the AED units, runs through the room layout.
5. Course runs. Lecture, video, demonstration, hands-on practice, practical assessment, written component.
6. Certificates issued same day. Digital certificates emailed directly to each student; printed cards mailed within 2 weeks. Your HR contact receives a master list.

Life Safe’s on-site team covers all of Toronto and the surrounding GTA — downtown core, midtown, North York, Scarborough, East York, Etobicoke, plus Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, and Brampton. Hamilton, Welland, Guelph, and broader Niagara are served from our regional venues. Travel within the GTA is included in standard on-site pricing.
