The East York venue
Our East York location is at 1774 Danforth Ave, on the Danforth between Greenwood and Coxwell. Coxwell subway station is a short walk; the 506 Carlton streetcar and several TTC bus routes serve the area. Street parking is available along the Danforth and on side streets. Drivers from the DVP exit at O’Connor or Don Mills and head south.
The space is a dedicated training centre with real CPR manikins (adult, child, and infant), AED trainers, BVMs for BLS, choking simulators, and the wound-care supplies needed for hands-on practice. Class sizes are kept small so everyone gets real manikin time.
Which course should you take?
| You’re taking it because… | Take this course | Time |
|---|---|---|
| Your workplace has 6+ workers per shift | Standard First Aid + CPR C AED | ~14 hours over 2 days |
| Your workplace has 1–5 workers per shift | Emergency First Aid + CPR C AED | 1 day (~7 hrs) |
| You’re a Michael Garron nurse or PSW renewing | BLS Renewal | 3–4 hours |
| You’re a new parent in Riverdale or Leslieville | CPR C AED (or the Free CPR class) | ~4 hours |
| You’re renewing an unexpired SFA card | SFA Recertification | ~8 hours |
If you’re not sure, the safest bet for workplace use is Standard First Aid + CPR — broadest coverage, satisfies almost any Ontario workplace requirement.
